Who this policy covers
This policy applies to information collected through Lower My Business Bill, including this website and direct conversations that begin through it. The service is operated by Justin Hall Consulting. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Lower My Business Bill and the people at Justin Hall Consulting who operate it.
What we collect
Contact and business details
When you submit a request, call, or email us, we may collect your name, company, work email address, phone number, job role, and the notes you choose to provide. We use these details to identify the request and respond to the right person.
Service address and account information
If you ask us to check availability or prepare a quote, we may collect the service address, suite or unit, current provider, account or customer number, contract information, service type, equipment, line or user counts, usage information, and other details needed to understand the account. A full street address is often necessary because provider availability can differ between neighboring buildings or suites.
Uploaded bills
A bill may contain contact information, account identifiers, service locations, usage, current charges, plan details, device obligations, meter information, and contract dates. We collect the file only when you choose to upload it or send it to us. Uploaded bills and the account details inside them are handled as confidential business information. We do not sell them, use them to build advertising audiences, or publish them.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, bank-account details, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, or unrelated employee information. If a bill includes information we do not need, you may redact it before uploading as long as the service, rate, usage, term, and account details required for the review remain readable.
Website and analytics information
Like most websites, our hosting systems receive technical information when a page is requested. This can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and error or performance data. We may use standard analytics tools, cookies, or similar local-storage technologies to understand aggregate site use, find broken pages, measure whether the site is useful, and prevent abuse. We do not use uploaded bill contents as analytics data.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- review a current bill, account, service, contract, or usage pattern;
- check which carriers, suppliers, access types, or products may be available for a service address;
- request and compare relevant quotes, terms, and service details;
- contact you with questions, results, status updates, and follow-up about the request;
- coordinate an order, provider handoff, number port, enrollment, or installation when you decide to proceed;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our internal workflow; and
- maintain records required for business, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
We do not use an uploaded bill to open or change an account without the required authorization. A quote request may require us to confirm details with a carrier or supplier, but a provider’s own authorization and identity-verification rules still apply before it changes service.
When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell uploaded bills or account details. We share information only where it is reasonably needed to handle the request, provide a service you asked for, run our business, or comply with law.
- Within Justin Hall Consulting. People responsible for reviewing the request, preparing options, supporting the account, or maintaining our systems may access the relevant information.
- With carriers, suppliers, and channel partners. We may provide the service address, usage, account details, or other required information to providers that can prepare an option or complete an order. We limit this to the providers and partners relevant to your request. Business energy options are handled through our Abundentio reseller relationship.
- With operational service providers. Companies that provide website hosting, secure file handling, email, forms, customer communications, analytics, or related business systems may process information for us under their own security and privacy obligations.
- For safety and legal reasons. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with a lawful request, enforce an agreement, investigate fraud or misuse, protect a person’s safety, or protect our rights and systems.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, security, accounting, dispute, or legal requirements. A quote that does not proceed may require a shorter record than an installed service we continue to support. Uploaded bills are retained only as long as they are useful for the audit, quote, follow-up, or resulting customer relationship, subject to any recordkeeping obligation that applies.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or allow it to age out of systems and backups under their normal retention cycles. A deletion request cannot always remove information immediately from disaster-recovery backups, provider systems, completed transaction records, or records we must retain by law, but we will explain any material limitation that applies to the request.
Your access, correction, and deletion choices
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you, provide a copy, correct inaccurate details, or delete information we no longer need. You may also ask us to stop nonessential follow-up communications. We may need to verify your identity and your authority over a business account before acting on a request, particularly when a bill or account identifier is involved.
These choices are available regardless of whether a particular privacy law applies to the request. Some information may be exempt from access or deletion when it belongs to another person, is protected by privilege, is necessary to complete a transaction you requested, or must be kept for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons.
Security and confidentiality
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed for the kind of information we handle, and we limit access to people and providers who need it for the request. No website, email system, upload process, or storage service can guarantee perfect security. If you are uncomfortable sending a bill through the website, contact us first so we can discuss another reasonable way to provide the necessary details.
Children’s privacy
This is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the quote and bill-review process.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when our services, systems, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version. Material changes will be described here before they apply where notice is required.
Contact us about privacy

Please say that your request concerns privacy and identify the email address or business account involved so we can locate the right records without asking for unnecessary information.
